It's been 15 years since the beginning of the first “ Fomula zero” car race in the cold Nordic countries. Families, couples, friends face themselves driving home made “Frankestien” cars in real racetracks. In Norway they call it Billcross, Jokamiehenluokka “ the every man race” in Finland where all started , Folkeraes in Denmark and Sweden.
If you want to take part of it , all you need is a good amount of bravery , lots of enthusiasm and hours and hours of artisan work to put together your own car, after you have just dismissed another one. You make your own unique patchwork almost forgetting what was the original car model, focusing on the safety roll bar , the seat and of course the engine.
During the race the cars can crash into each other , overturn , get lost in a cloud of dust but as tradition the first one passing the arrival will win. Both Women and man can be on the highest step of the podium and at the end of the races all the cars must be auctioned with affordable offers , so everybody can keep on racing in a democratic style.
